I've always been a fan of Logan's Run. It was one of the first of the new era of sci-fi films of the 70's. I love the look of the film and it surprisingly holds up pretty well today. I first saw it at the drive-in on a double feature with Star Wars in 1978. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure I fell asleep before it was over. The excitement of seeing Star Wars again wore off and my little eight year old body just got plain tuckered out. It would have been cool seeing it on a large indoor screen like the Blue Ridge had. This ad is from the 6/16/76 Kansas City Star. Unfortunately the ad was pretty big and the top got cut off when I scanned it. But the jist of the ad is there.

We used to play Logan's Run during school recess. I loved the TV show too! I've been a runner for almost nine years and so far so good!
