I always thought this sequel to one of my all time favorite movies was vastly underrated. I thought it still had the strong character development the first one had plus I thought using four different cinematic styles to characterize the different years represented in the movie was a unique touch. In fact, I saw this before I saw the original. I remember my dad taking me to the Brywood Theater to see it and really liking the late 60's soundtrack. I wish the soundtrack was on CD but I still have my record which I played the heck out of after I saw the movie. This ad is from the 6/3/79 Kansas City Star.
