I recently watched Jaws 2 on DVD and was surprised at how good it was. I remember seeing it for the first time when I was a teenager and being tremendously disappointed. I think I was like a lot of people who saw it at the theater in 1978. The first Jaws was so good I think most people weren't going to give the sequel a chance. It holds up real well and is very well writen and directed in its own right. This ad is from the 7/3/78 Kansas City Star.
