I really like the Hammer Studios horror films of the 50's and 60's from England. Most of them have this really creepy quality to them that couldn't be replicated in America at the time. Plus considering most of them had either Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee in them obviously didn't hurt. This double feature at the Heart had perhaps my favorite Dracula film of all time. It's absolutely fantastic! Plus the late show with Joey Heatherton was probably a hoot as well. The ad is from the 10/2/65 Kansas City Star.
