This fantastic movie was my first exposure to the wondrous worlds of the great Ray Harryhausen. While it was not as good as his previous efforts, my eleven year old mind was blown away by the cool stop motion effects. This might have been another film I saw at Twin Drive-In growing up but I don't remember for sure. I might have seen it later on in its run. The ad is from the 6/12/81 Kansas City Star.

As much as I love this movie 7th Voyage of Sinbad is still my favorite Harryhausen movie. Of course if Queen would have done the soundtrack, then it would be close.
